The leaky timing cover seal is easily fixed using a method I learned from fellow listers. Get a MGB timing chain cover, which takes a real oil seal (rather than the felt on in the MGA). You will also need to get the oil thrower from the MGB (it looks like a big washer behind the timing chain cover on the crank). Joe Ratigan '58 Roadster |
