I've been browsing though some of my old 'Hot Rod' magazines, and came
across this, regarding the Bonneville speed trials, November 1963 issue;

"Bob Sutton's 122 cubic inch Ferrari powered MGA....made the record
books in G/Sports Racing with an average of 137.261, running welded up
pistons vented early in meet."

Ah, nothing like welding up the pistons in your Ferrari powered MGA,
ain't that right folks?
