Last night I lit up the MGB and pointed it south toward the Gulf Coast. I had
spent too much time in North Mississippi this weekend for my sister's
wedding and brough home a bad case of the 'funk'. You know the type:
you meet a wonderful girl and then you can't eat for the next three days
because you're too damn sick mooning over her.
Well, she just wasn't my type and I needed to purge my system, and there's
nothing like the beach for that. I laid in the sand and watched the sun
set. Then, I watched massive thunderheads build in the darkening sky.
Regeneration complete, I aimed the MGB back towards sanity and Hattiesburg.
With the funk nearly dissipated, I was ready for some real food.
just plain Thomas
