John,
Try this little trick, it always seems to work for me. Jack up
the car and put it on jack stands. Cut the steering wheel until you
can get behind the wheel. Beat on the rim, tire, etc. with your lead
mallet. Repeat until the wheel comes loose. Be careful, please do
not bash in your inner wing!
