It certainly is, as is the Metro (Rover 100), although the engine nomenclature
has advanced to the dizzy heights of 'A+', albeit about 15 years ago! I am
sure
I read that, to reduce design and development costs, the 'O' series engine used
the 'B' series crankshaft.
