digest?

Hello all, Im having a problem in that many times im gone for a few days at a
time
when i get back my Email is five miles long , all from the list. 
thats not a bad thing but its hard to scan through for other non auto related

things some times. so could someone please send me a step by step Idiots
guide to how to receive the list by digest . form there I can print and have
some good bedtime reading.
