Jay:-
I know of at least four that have been held there for a number of years.
The next one coming up is the 22nd annual Traders Village Swap Meet at
Traders Village in Grand Prairie on June 6th and 8th. There are three
that are held every year at the Baseball Park in Arlington (in the
parking area). One in the spring (April, you've missed the one on the
12th and 13th this year), one in the summer (this year July 12 & 13th),
and the fall (November 8th & 9th). Call (817) 751-7958 weekdays for more
info.
I would also consider the monster Pate swap meet in the Dallas area, but
you missed the last one of those in April, too. There will be no Pate
next year, but supposedlly someone will do something in its stead.
Usually you can find all these listed in Hemmings, I know both the Ball
Park and Pate swap meets have run half page ads in the past.
When I lived in Dallas these were the big ones to go to, but I also
remember a couple of minor ones that might be advertised in the Antique
and Classic Cars section of the Dallas Morning News classifieds (that's
always a good place to check in any town for swap meets-- I found several
in Houston in the Chronicle that way).
Have fun! And if you find that Snap-On torque wrench for $35 that I
passed up one time (dipwad that I am), send it to me, its mine!
