Folks,
Ok, here's the skinny that I just got from a gentleman who shall
remain nameless just happens to own a Sunoco station:
-The new pumps, that is pumps having separate hoses on each pump(total
of 4, one for each blend), do not mix the octanes. They have separate
tanks in ground.
-The older tanks, one gas line for all of the blends, would have the
potential of giving you about 3/4 gallon if the person before you
didn't drain out the hose after they shut it off.
So, my fears were not for naught which is a good thing. Thanks to all
who responded.
Now, the next question--If I am getting air for my tires and I want 32
pounds, and if the last person there wanted 45, do I get the higher
air pressure he didn't use in the lines??? :>D
Hopefully, I don't start a stupid thread,
Dave Houser
