You need a pair of circlip pliers. $20 at Sears. Make sure you get
the ones that have different-sized "ends" to attach. You'll see what
I mean. They have two prongs that stick into the two holes on the
clip. They are reversible, so you can squeeze-to-spread or
squeeze-to-conract (for rings that go inside or outside a shaft).
