I found it much easier to use the front valve cover nut for both removal and replacement of my 1275 Eng. in my '72 Midget. It put the unit at the proper angle and balance. The center transmission mount was gooey from years of oil leaks and the motor mounts also needed to be changed. I replaced these the second time the engine was out and really noticed the difference in smooth operation. just plain phil |
