compression

Hello!  I am new to the list and have a question.  Could anyone tell me
what the compression should be for a 1098cg engine?  I have a '63 Midget and
am trying to rule out blow by as the cause for oil coming out the crank case
vent.  I am losing about 1 quart every 100 miles through the vent.  Just a 
little messy on the old garage floor.
