I have been getting some real progress on getting my 66B ready, not
early enough for British Car Week but maybe the summer weather. Anyway,
I am thinking about painting it (somthing other than primer) and have
been looking at Clausager's Original MGB. For 62-67 cars he lists the
various colors that were available but does not have photos of them all.
The missing colors are Mineral Blue and Chelsea Grey. Any one have a
car with these colors maybe a web page? Are they so bad that they make
*any* car look like a goat hauler? Clausager also has a picture of a
65 GT painted "Sandy Beige" with very sexy wing mirrors, any one seen
these for sale anywhere?
As far as british car week goes I am going to go look at a lbc that is
for sale tomorrow. With the extended time that my car is taking to get
on the road I am looking for an interseting driver and would like
to get any advice that the colective years of experience of the list
has to offer. The car in question is a TVR (shame on me....:)) a 1986
280i. I don't know much about TVR's and while my car experience is
not too bad I am wondering if there is a check list of things that would
be good to look for? Or any general thoughts on how to avoid the DPO
from hell syndrome? Any one have any experience with TVR?
