"Take your best shot" is what Dave Houser said as you all had me
surrounded and not a one of you were man enough to give it a try.

I do agree to the need for more tech info and I'd like to start off on
the right foot here (kind of "new leaf" thing) with a tech question:
Why couldn't the TR6 (that thought he was a hot shot when he pulled up
next to me on PA turnpike, this morning, and reved his engine)keep up
with my 4 banger MGB? Just wondering. :-)
Highlites:
Trip to Carlisle: Met up with, Mike Robson, Ian Pender, Jim P.( who
gave us the great laptop up dates from INDY last year), Richard Boris,
Mark Moberg and John Morris at the pre arranged NJ service area.
Carlisle Swap: If you needed it, it was there
Dinner Friday night with all of the above + Robin Weatherall and Scott
Hower. Have not laughed that much in a long time.
MGs on-line meet was lots of fun.
Dinner Saturday night with many of the above + Jerome Rosenberg and son
and another David who owns a BGT w/ sebring kit and buick V6 in it. I
hadn't laughed this much since dinner Fri.
Drive home was top down as far as Jersey where I picked up a hardtop
from another one of our on-line friends (Alan "THESHOE")

Jim P. also snagged one of these and if your wondering where all the
air pumps are, you need look no further than Scott Hower's house.
Great group of people. I hope that all, for whom I had arranged
acommodations, were comfortable. It's it truely a wonderful thing that
a bunch of metal, vinly, rubber, glass and plastic assembled in a
certain way in the UK can bring together such a diverse assortment of
personalities and friendship are made. Thank-you all who were part of a
terrific weekend. I'm looking forward to Laurel Falls, NJ on May 18th,
Long Island Centre's "British are Coming!!" June 1st, Oakdale, N.Y. and
the Brits on the Hudson's "Dare to be British" in New Windsor, N.Y. on
the 8th of June. Hope to see more of the same and many new faces.
Safety Fast, David Deutsch
