Chrome dress-up goodies

Since my 'B' is running well, I've turned my attention to prettifying
the engine compartment. Right now, I'm considering which parts to
chrome and which parts to powder-coat. My question is this-- In the
Moss and Brit-Tek catalogues, some of the engines pictured have what
look like chromed or billet-aluminum water necks on the cylinder
heads. Who sells these? They sure are sharp.
Also, this is for anyone who has had engine pieces chromed. How
much prep work did you have to do before handing the part over to the
plating shop? Is sandblasting enough, or do you have to have the
surface perfectly smooth and sanded before it's chromed?
One last question. My car is straight, and all the panels
line up with no rust, but if you sight down the panels,
they're very slightly 'wavy'. I have also found some bondo. If I
want a perfectly smooth, straight finish, do the wavy panels have to
be replaced, or can a good, conscientious body shop fix them?
Thanks for any help,
Scott Gardner
