For almost 2 years (or since I subscribed) I've have been seeing
articles in the British Marque Car Club News from the North American
Dellow Registry. The Contributing Editor, Alex Tarinian, is from the
next town over from me here on Long Island. In the May issue I noticed
he mentioned the upcoming Triathlon II Weekend in MA (which I will be
attending) so I picked up the phone and gave him a shout. Facinating,
70 year old gentleman. Told me a little about the Dellow history: a
little better than 300 manufactured and only a dozen imported (Alex an
original importer)and then several more were brought over by
servicemen. I was saddened to hear he was resigning from club due to
lack of interest by it's current 5 or 6 members. He estimates that
there are only 10 to 14 through out the us and Canada. I had only ever
seen one and that was at The Original British Car Day in Bowie last
year. Just wanted to share this with you all and hope that if you ever
run across one of these you will now know how rare they are and
appreciate what you are seeing. Safety Fast, David Deutsch
