I'd say just make sure you have some type of oil in your tranny.SAE90,20w50,blah,blah,blah.Use oil! it really isn't outside of logic to say it doesn't matter,and it all depends on wether you have hypoid90 or 20w50 sitting on your shelf in your garage.But I reccomend motor oil the hypoid stuff tends to be a little thick.
