I'm in the process of replacing the alternator on my 71. I've been told that there is a Delco Remy that bolts in (well almost) and is a one wire hook up. Does anybody have any experience with this conversion? If so; 1. Are there different sizes(different amp outputs)I can use? 2. What cars do they come off of? 2. What about the belt? Do I need to buy a different length? Tom Shirley Sale Creek, TN |
