I recently went through this thread with the list.  The consensus was
that the polyurethane were the most durable, but were best for racing
since they made for a hard ride for a street car.  The MGB GTV8 were the
next most popular for street cars and that is what I installed in my
yet-to-be -on-the-road TD.  I have no idea what a Nylatron is.

I doubt that you can remove a bushing as you say, and it might even be
dangerous to try to leave the spring compressed while working around it
like that.  I don't think it would really save you any time, anyway.  I
have found that such workarounds tend to take more time and produce worse
results than doing it right.
