<< I just received a box full of Practical and Classics & Car Restore
magazines, Comes from GB and the newest one seems to be 1989. Chucked
full of good articles on restoring B's and Midgets. Now for the question
. Does anybody know if this magazine is still published >>
Yes, It is, and it is even better now. It has now combined with the magazine
Popular Classics, another execellent magazine. The name has been shortened to
"Practical Classics". It is available here in Knoxville, TN at two of our
local bookstores. If you check around, you might be able to find it in your
area. For us LBCers, It is an outstanding magazine, very much oriented
towards do-it-yourself! Unfortunately, it is also very expensive, about $64
to subscribe.
The US address for subscriptions is:
Eric Waiter Associates,
Box 188,
Berkely Hts, NJ 07922
908-665-7811
They are on line, but I don"t know their URL. I tried www.ewa.com, and got an
electronic warfare company of some kind.
Their main speciality is automobile models. They carry an extensive line,
from modest priced to expensive collector items.
