Needle Valve

I have an occasional problem with the
needle valves in my carb. bowls float.

The float get stuck and will not let any
more gas in, until I hit the top of the
bowls, then the needle will release itself
and start to fill the bowls again.

My question is: Will the highly talked about grose
jets or needles work better?
