Here is one for Barney and the other racers:
I normally don't endorse products but this time I have too. It is called
the Need For Speed it is a Computer Game, and there are 2 versions
available. Hey and this is a car game that actually has a few LBCs in it
:-)
Anyway I have NFS 1, but I am getting NFS 2.
NFS 1 is great, and I recommend it even now.
NFS 2 is out, so I am recommending it, here are the facts:
8 Different race cars:
McLaren F1 (I think it is an LBC)
Ferrari F50
Jaguar XJ220 (LBC)
Lotus GT1 (LBC)
Italdesign Cala
Ford GT90 (British input and Cosworth mods)
Lotus Esprit V8 (LBC)
Isdera Commendatore 112i
Ok here are the stats:
3D engine allows you to drive off road (off mountian tops and into rivers),
stay in car (even in a crash), drive in reverse into in coming traffic
Car setup includes downforce, gear ratios, choice of color, etc.
Competition Play: Play over company LAN (local area network), modem, or
direct link.
Arcade mode
PRICE = 54.95 call 1-800-245 4525
IT ONLY Works with WINDOWS 95, for the Win3.1 and DOS people get Need For
Speed 1.
The CD ROM includes the game, interactive stats on each car (developed by
C&D). And you get to drive on acctual roads, like the AutoBahn and the
French Riveria. This is the coolest game in the world. Hey and when I get
it and I set it up, I'll play someone over the modem (if its a local call).
Or maybe I can set my PC up to be a game server with the address at
nfs.dialogue.net, then anyone with Net access can play. I am looking
forward to this :-)
