I got the freshly red-ed B out day before yesterday and *zoomed* around
the block. (The second time around, a lady down the street came out on
her lawn and frowned at me as I came by! :-) ) Well, I was reminded of a
problem from the faded yellow days. I've got a Weber downdraft carb and
headers and when I really punch it, it really goes! Until I shift! I let
up on the throtle and then! When I get back on it, the engine has a bad
lag, so the RPM's are too low when I let the clutch out, your head is
jerked forward and then the power comes back on and, boy, is your head
jerked backwards again! :-)
Any suggestions for tuning out the big lag?
TIA
