The first MG's made were named for the Morris Garages (plural) in Oxford
at the Longwall Street Depot where Cecil Kimber was the manager. To make
matters more confusing, Old Number One is not the first MG made. It is on
the 48th body to be made for MG.In the period 1923 to 25 Mg production
didn't actually start but more or less evolved. The first MG logo in the
Octogon apeared in the summer of 1924.
Welcome to the list, your going to enjoy learnin about the cars.
