Oooooh. Intrigue in the world of MG? Since listers only got Geoff's
reply (I assume Mike's email was sent to him privately) we can only guess
at the ins and outs of the "Mille Miglia" episode. I did have some
experience of the MGCC U.S. "conquest," which, by all accounts was badly
handled, but perhaps not such a bad idea in general in that it would have
created a national MG organization? I don't know exactly what happened,
but I would like to have been a fly on the wall at some of the board
meetings!
Anyhoo, my purpose is to thank Geoff for the MG Octagon club suggestion,
I'm faxing my membership application today. Also, I wanted to give the
URL for the club, which I found last night through the MG Enthusiasts
web site. There is a membership application form at the site that can be
printed and sent in. Perhaps this will save someone unneeded
