this french thing

I am ascended from French Canadians on my father's side, and even I have a
problem with the French, but I'm intrigued by their funky cars. It's just
that the top ten list of cars I covet contains about 30 British cars and it
will be a long time before I move into German, Italian and French vehicles. 
 Oh, and 'ascended' is not meant as a slur, I certainly hope that my
children, and eventual grandchildren etal will ascend from me.
