If your state has something similar, write to them. The Insurance
Commisioner in N.C. is elected and hence leans to siding with the taxpayer.
This office sets the rates companies are allowed to charge etc. Often those
"Too good to be true" insurance advertisments seen on tv contain a "not
available in N.C." tag, meaning that our commisioner has checked it out and
found it wanting. Every now and then democracy works.
