Bruce..

It's funny, but I have heard both sides of the story here on the net.
Some think Armor-All is the best thing since sliced bread, and others
this it is the devil incarnate. I recently re-did my tonneau by
putting in some new zippers, and fixing up some of the seams. =20
Looks great! Thanks for the info..

Dave;

I've been using Armor-All on mine once a year for 14 years, no shrinkage =
or damage of any sort. In fact, it looks like new. Only the thread has =
deteriorated- time to sit down with a needle and some synthetic thread =
and redo the stitches.

Doh!!!

Does Armor All really cause shrinkage of
vinyl?? (He asks as he has recently soaked
his Midget tonneau...) I might have
one for your collection in a few months!

I've been there and have 2 perfectly good tonneaus sitting in my garage=20
waiting for that magical tonneua growth hormone to be available. I =
suspect=20
the PO used Armor All on them (see previous note) which made them shrink =
in=20
the first place. I figure that by the time I can afford to add a Midget =
to my=20
collection my shrunken tonneaus will be perfect!!!=20

Is there a way to stretch a tonneau that's shrunk over time? I can get =
it to=20
fit left to right, I can't seem to make it all the way to the snaps on =
the=20
dash.=20
(I know, a DPO installed snaps instead of studs/lift the dots.) Even =
after=20
setting it out in the sun to heat up, it's still at least an inch shy. =
Thanks=20

in advance.
