When it rains, it pours. Listen to what a crappy weekend I had:
1. Friday night I had to take my Dad to the emergency room. He was
having severe stomach pains. After sitting around in the ER waiting room
for four hours, they admitted him to the hospital.
2. Spent a few hours Saturday at the hospital with Dad. I finally had
to leave because I couldn't stand to see him in such agony. Mom decided
to spend the night with him at the hospital.
3. I went to see Dad Sunday morning before I left to go back to school.
Mom excused herself to go smoke a cigarette. Five minutes later she
calls me down to the lobby. Her car had been stolen.
4. Finally left to drive back to school at about 4 Sunday afternoon.
Hit a pothole and knocked the crap out of one of my wire wheels. No
spokes broken (I think), but the hub has about a half-inch of play among
the spokes.
5. Pulled in my driveway. When I reached to flip the headlights off,
part of the switch popped off in my hand. When I put my hand behind the
dash to pop out the rest of the switch so that I could turn off my
headlights, my finger contacted molten plastic and burned the stew out of
me.
Sorry to vent to the whole list, but I feel better already...
