1098 geartrains are also available at the same money, and ocassionaly so are 
1275's with new, yes new, laygears. Second gears are the stumbling block on 
these. (Anyone out there got a parcel of 22G1120s they want to move on)?

Yes, a Ribcase unit can be fitted instead of the smoothcase but one would 
either have to change the clutch or do a small mod (drill and tap) the front 
main case. No real big deal though.
