 Magnette - "Little Magna"
 The Magna being an honored MG model since the 30's(?) and when MG brought
out a somewhat "smaller" car it was named the Magnette. 
  FWIW, the ZA and ZB Magnettes are not the first to carry that name. The
model designation pre-date the War (WW II not the Falklands)
