I shudder to think I may have contributed to starting this thread, but
my only comment is :
The names, ie. Magna, Magnette, Midget, etc., all came from a time
when the people at MG still had enough imagination to NAME the cars, instead
of falling on the lackluster choices of MGA,MGB, MGC, MGF......
Just my 2p worth.
