Well Blair didn't really write this but with all the fo's and such it looked
to my computer like he did!

I had this problem with the TA.....most T typers do.  Go down to the hardware
store and in the plumbing section you will find a chrome plated gizmo part of
a drain that is straight and has a flange on one end.  I don't know what they
call this thing but you'll know it when you see it.  If its too long you can
cut off a portion but you need about 6 inches sticking down into your tank.
 The flange will rest on the lip of your tank. Fabricate a new gasket that
when the lid is closed will press down on the flange and hold it in place.
 Now the sloshing gas will not slosh out!  Works great....just make sure you
don't seal things up too well or you will run into other problems.....
