This one is quite easy and has been covered in postings before.
1. There are 2 flasher units -- one for normal direction indication
(left OR right) and another for hazard warning.
2. No flashing on left or right indicates too high resistance in the
left or right circuit. This could be: Bad connections, too high
resistance in the bulbs (wrong value or just old). Most likely is the
connection between the bulb sockets and the bubs themselves, but also
check the connectors onto the flasher unit on the firewall (even if it
is common to both left and right flashers, the problem may be slightly
high resistance in one circuit COMBINED with high rsistance in the
common parts of the circuit).
3. Hazard warning flasher is more sophisticated than the direction
flasher and hence will flash even if the circuit resistance is high.
Finally, remember that you are not looking for something that is
broken, but probably just a dirty connection!

Simon
