Hey, a rational gummint employee! Nice to email with one. There are some
conservatives left after all. I thought I was virually alone :-). I
don't think we are out of the woods on smog issues at all as the years
go by, particularly in CA. Notice the commentary about old cars lying
fallow as parts are expensive, etc. Fact is the bureaucrats want those
clunkers OFF the road. Much more $$$ in fees for new iron.

Incidentally, where are you on the electric car issue? My first question
is who will buy a car that will need at least two days (or more) to make
a round trip from San Diego to LA due to battery charging? Answer,
wealthy retired liberals!
