'B' ovedrive problem

My '67 BGT has developed the habit of dropping out of overdrive from time to 
time for very short moments. Electrical seems ok and trannie is full of lube. I 
have thought of adjusting the throw of the solenoid and what I seem to remember 
as a filter in the oil pressure system in the OD unit. Does anyone have any 
ideas of what else to check?
