R. Johnson enquired about experience with Splitfires in MGBs..... We had a '76 B in to be tuned for its CA emissions test. Its hydrocarbon emissions were too high. Checked the plugs...found a fairly new set of Splitfires. Changed them for a set of NGK BP6ES. Hydrocarbon emissions dropped significantly. Maybe the car shoulda had a set of those "double-core" wires to make the Splitfires work as advertised......! Lawrie British Sportscar Center |
