Ditto here. That same battery is what I fitted into the plastic box mounted
behind the seat in my 64. It has worked fine for about 3 years now and is
protected from the elements much better than the original open box config.
Get this,...when I got the car, it had a truck battery thrown in the trunk
with an spliced extension on the negative lead ( pos. ground) that was held
together under the car with masking tape.
Makes you wonder what people are thinking when they do these things...
