buying a mg

I am interested in purchasing a MGB roadster, 1967-72. I would like it
to be in pretty goog shape, not concours but so I can drive it from
time to time while I make some improvements. I could pay something in the 
4-5k range
I live near Portland, Oregon and could travel 150 miles or so to look
at an interesting car.
