In regards to your split bumper request, I'm assuming you have a 1970, not a
1979, as the message indicates. I recently restored a 70, and it is by no
means easy to locate the rear bumper bars. Most of the usual sources (VB,
TRF, etc) had the left side, but the right was very difficult to find. I
found a guy in East Hampton, Long Island, that had one in his basement (NOS),
and I paid top dollar for it ($110). The left, however, was readily available
from TRF for $60.There was also a place in NY that said he had both sides
(NOS) but would only sell them as a set, and also very expensive ($260?).
None of these contained any hardware or overriders. The place in NY is M&G

If you get desperate, I have a pair of very good condition split bumpers that
I may be persuaded to sell for the right price. They would need re-chroming
if they were to be for a show car, otherwise they're pretty good from a few
