Sounds like a similar problem I had recently with a 69 - only without the tach element - mine turned out to be the perennial stuck valve which took two engine flushes to clear - but two oil changes and about $9 for the flushes HAS to be the cheapest way to start! - good luck mike robson 69 roadster 72 roadster 73 BGT |
