Yes, if you unbolt the seat track, youn will find a second set of
holes in the track (and in the wooden shim, I believe) which gives
that extra inch or so. However, if you have removed the stop, I
don't know that this will do any better. Sorry I'm a bit fuzzy on
this, but I did it to my first roadster in 1970, and my present one
eight to ten years ago. Any change in upholstery does affect this:
replacing the seat diaphragm a year ago put me into the roof!!
