Strange, but True!

Allow me to quote the following passage from The Modern Man's Guide to
Life, Chapter 4, page 81, Section 'Car Care', subsection 'Rare Spares':

        The English should be prohibited by international law from designing,
        engineering or manufacturing automobile parts.  Their carburetors
        are particulary loathsome.
        
Perhaps this quote will help the chap who had gas leaking from the cork
seals of his carb.
