Usually October 28th is a time to contemplate getting out the car cover,
Stabil, etc., as the season for LBC's is grinding to a halt quickly here
in Michigan.
October has been unusally wet and cool here in Detroit, and what with
work, the house and family and all the other distractions, the B has
been dormant for nearly a month. Yesterday brought a free afternoon,
and 70 degrees - those of you in warmer climates are problably thinking
big deal. Anyway, a 100 mile drive on a late fall afternoon, with the
leaves falling, and a gorgeous post daylight savings sunset around 6:00
p.m. had a marvellous restorative effect on my psyche. What a damn
shame that it is probably going to be another 5 months or more before I
can enjoy anything like it again.

Chris Delling
