My recently acquired 77B has developed a nasty running on problem when I
turn it off (otherwise it wouldn't be a problem.) It will continue to chug
along for upwards of about 30 seconds even with the key out. My ignition
light comes on and the tach still reads until it's ready to die and then
the tach drops to 0.
Would the run on valve have anything to do with this? It's connected to
the carbon cannister, but not to the engine anymore. Where do you connect
it to the manifold? All the diagrams I've seen of it are rather vague.
