I know for midgets the recommended way to get rid of the valve train noise is to invest in some trick carbon fiber pushrods (about $110/set) and a belt drive cam, and if your budget is really huge, some roller tip rockers. Apparently this quiets it down considerably. Also Ive heard that the installation of one of those fancy dancy alloy valve covers helps too.
