I used to be a professional mechanic, and I have at least some of all of
the brands you mention; and others, such as Vulcan and Husky. Here is
what I think. If you love tools, and you have an unlimited budget,
Snap-on is great. I have had sets of their wrenches and screwdrivers for
over 20 years. But , they are soooooooo expensive..... Craftsman makes
good tools, as well, although I really don't like their wrenches,
either. The bottom line is: As long as the tools are guaranteed for
life,( and you don't outlive the company), and you like the particular
tool, then any of the brands you mention make a good product.
(But.... If I won the lottery, I would buy Snap-On....)
