Can someone tell me how long gas can be left in the carbs sitting up before they experience the gumming problem and varnish? My 67B has a problem with the fuel pump, and it did get replaced, but the carbs sat for 3-4 weeks, and now the car won't start. I started the soaking process, but for future reference would like to know how long can a set of carbs be left sitting??? Thanks to all. Tom Wagner 67 MGB |
