This is possibly incorrect. I don't know the exact thermodynamics
involved, but the Manual is very clear about using a "thermostat
blanking sleeve" when removing the thermostat. The implication is that
the car will actually run hotter with no thermostat and no blanking
sleeve; can anybody back this up with charts and graphs?
(BTW, Moss has recently introduced a repro blanking sleeve; it's the
first I've seen since I got this albatross four years ago...)
