I can remember going to see that as a young teenager when it first 
came to Ilford (near London in the UK).  I went on my own and because 
it was 'A' rated (must be accompanied by an adult) I had to beg some 
other poor soul to take me in.  It took me years to discover why my 
parents smirked when I told them the title.  We were innocent in 
those days.
