..Brings to mind the summer when I worked on a tree farm in an
anonymous Southern state clearing brush.  We had a '49 Harvester
pickemup truck that used more oil than gas.  Got the oil free from
Skeet Wiley's garage--slightly used.  About twicet a week ol' man
Howard (moonshiner extraordinaire and all-around raconteur) would
remove the plugs, build an oak fire and toss the plugs into it.  After
about half an hour of this cleansing ordeal they'd be ready for
another two or three days.  I never did inquire what he did during
that half hour, but he seemed to have a lot more energy afterwards.
But I digress....
